Lagos, COVID-19 epicentre in Nigeria, Africa’s most populous nation, has announced the re-opening of religious centres, particularly the Churches and Mosques. Governor of the state, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, who made this announcement on Saturday, August 1, 2020, ordered the re-opening of places of worship in Lagos, starting from Friday, August 7, 2020.
