  The Nigeria Government has said it was close to resolving its diaagreement with the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU).   The facility the Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) cameras at the Lekki Toll Gate, where #EndSARS protesters were shot, two weeks ago, was linked to had been “tampered” with and had been burnt. OML 40 suffers 2nd explosion in 4 months, shuts-in 10,000 barrels

Another explosion on Tuesday, November 3, rocked a production facility in Oil Mining Lease (OML) 40, impacting about 10,000 barrels of oil per day. The explosion, checks by Platforms  Africa showed, occured four months after a similar incident at the same OML 40 killed seven people in July this year.   A promoter of the #EndSARS movement, Modupe Odele, has been arrested at the airport by the Nigerian Immigration Service on her way out of Nigeria Odele was also prevented from travelling. Although the officers did not disclose the reason for their action, it is believed that the action was taken because of her alleged role in the #EndSARS protests.
