A foundation belonging to Nigeria’s top politician, Bola Ahmed Tinubu (BAT), has donated a bus to the Lagos council of the Nigerian Union of Journalists (NUJ).
The Foundation, Platforms Africa gathered, donated the 18-passenger Hummer Bus to the Adeleye Ajayi-NUJ Lagos State Council today in Lagos.
Receiving the gift, Chairman of the council, Mr
Adeleye Ajayi, showed appreciation to the foundation for its support to the union.
Mr. Tinubu, who has been rumoured to be eyeing the seat of President Muhamadu Buhari is at the centre of a controvery on probes of his assets by the country’s anti-graft agency, Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
His case file domiciled at the Code of Conduct Bureau (CCB) has reportedly disappeared after an official request was made for it by the EFCC.
