Amnesty: Dogs rescued before Black people in Palma

  A disheartening revelation by Amnesty International (AI) showed that dogs were prioritised for evacuation ahead of Black locals during a rescue operation in Mozambican town of Palma. The rescue followed an attack in March by an armed group known locally as al-Shabab on Palma. Amnesty International added that all the white contractors were also rescued leaving behind the black.
