REVEALED: Three Times Kaduna Plane crashes Killed Top Army Chiefs, Governor

 

Over the past few years, some top security officials of the Federal Republic of Nigeria had been involved in a fatal plane crash in Kaduna state, Northwest Nigeria.

This came as military and political officials confirmed that the wife of the Chief of Army Staff, Abubakar Attahiru, Mrs. Fati, was not onboad the illfated flight.

Here is how three top security operatives were involved in plane crash accident in 2012, 2015 and 2021 respectively.

On the 15th of December, 2012, the Ex-Governor of Kaduna state, Patrick Ibrahim Yakowa was killed in a helicopter crash in the southern delta region along with other senior officials.

Ex-Governor Patrick Ibrahim Yakowa and former national security adviser Gen Owoye Azazi were on the helicopter which came down in Bayelsa state.

Nigerian media said the helicopter belonged to the Nigerian navy and had been taking officials to Port Harcourt.

In August 2015, a light military plane, Dornier 2k, crashed in Kaduna with all seven on board feared dead.

The plane, which took off from Dana Airport, operated by the Nigeria Air Force, NAF, in Kaduna, came down some minutes after at the Kantoma Army Barracks, otherwise known as the NDA Barracks, around 6:45am .

It was gathered that the pilot, co-pilot, two engineers and three passengers who were inside the plane all perished on their way to Abuja.

On the 21st of May, 2021, the Nigerian Chief of Army Staff, Ibrahim Attahiru has been killed Ibrahim Attahiru has been killed in a plane crash in Kaduna.

The Ill-fated aircraft was said to have crashed at the airport’s runway.

The incident was said to have occurred at about 6 pm while it was raining heavily.

The plane was said to have crash-landed on the runway, with 11 people on board feared dead.

Meanwhile, the defence headquarters has released the flight manifest with the full names of those onboard the ill-fated aircraft.
