JAMB Suspends USSD, Offers Fresh Explanation On How To Check UTME Results

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB), has suspended the use of USSD code 55019, for checking results of the 2021 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME). This decision is due to  some challenges associated with the platform, JAMB declared. Why Buhari Appointed Obinna, Saidu, Chairman, Executive Secretary For PPPRA

President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the appointment of a Chairman, and an Executive Secretary for the Petroleum Product Pricing Regulatory Agency (PPPRA) in accordance with Section 2 (1-3) and 3 (a) of the Petroleum Product Pricing Regulatory Agency (Establishment, ETC) Act 2003. The Chairman is Mr Atuonwo A. Obinna, while the Executive Secretary is Mr Abdulkadir Saidu, reappointed for another four years. In what appeared an affront on Yoruba mythology, armed men have kidnapped another traditional ruler, Oba Benjamin Oso, the Eleda of Eda Ile, in Ekiti East Local Government Area, southwest Nigeria.   The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has released the results of candidates who sat in more than 720 CBT centres for the 2021 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination conducted between June 19 and June 22. Dr Fabian Benjamin, JAMB Spokesperson made this known in a statement made available to newsmen in Abuja on Friday.
