One of Nigeria’s elder statesmen, Ahmed Joda, is dead. He was the chairman and board member, Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, Nigerian Communications Commission, among others.
Platforms Africa reports that before his death, Joda was a Nigerian seasoned administrator who rose through the administrative cadre of the nation’s regional government.

He later joined the federal civil service to retire as Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Industries.

During the administration of the youthful Yakubu Gowon, he was considered to be among a group known as super Permanent Secretaries
He worked with Gaskiya Corporation in Zaria and correspondent at the Nigerian Broadcasting Service; Permanent Secretary, Northern regional government; Permanent Secretary serving in the Federal Ministries: Information, Education and Industries, chairman and board member, Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, Nigerian Communications Commission, Pastoral Resolve, SCOA, Nigeria, Chagoury Group, Flour Mills of Nigeria, and the Nigerian LNG
