The number of searches by Nigerians and others for the sex video of music superstar, Tiwa Savage, has surpassed 200,000 in the last 96 hours. Platforms Africa reports that Google, in a mail forwarded to subscribers of Google Trends on Thursday, disclosed this, adding that the trending video has become Google’s most searched piece of item. NSITF ex-boss, Ngozi Olejeme, remanded in EFCC Custody

A High Court sitting in Jabi, Federal Capital Territory  (FCT) on Thursday ordered that the former board chairman of Nigeria Social Insurance Trust Fund, Ngozi Olejeme, be remanded in the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission’s custody, until Friday. Platforms Africa reports that Olejeme is standing trial over alleged case of criminal conspiracy, abuse of office, diversion of public funds and money laundering. JUST IN: How Bandits Attacked Nigerian Railway, Caused Operations’ Shutdown

Bandits fired live ammunitions into driver compartments and detonated explosives on the tracks serving the Nigerian Railway Corporation (NRC) in an attack that has caused suspension of the railway operations at the Abuja-Kaduna line. Platforms Africa reports that the attack, which took place between Wednesday night and Thursday morning, left passengers traumatised.
