A female lecturer at the Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba, Southwest Nigeria, Dr. Abimbola Alu-Fayenuwo, who waited in marriage for 18 Years, has died after giving Birth To a set of Triplet.
Platforms Africa reports Dr. Abimbola Alu-Dayenuwo died on December 30, 2021, two days to the New year and few weeks to her 47th birthday, after giving birth to two boys and a girl.
Ademola Adeoye, a brother-in-law to the deceased who confirmed the sad news to Platforms Africa, gave details of how she died on the same day of the triple’s naming ceremony.

It would be recalled that another Nigerian who also waited for years in marriage died on Christmas say after giving birth to a set if twins.
Reacting to the sad incident, Adeoye said to Platforms Africa; “So sad! My sister-in-law, Dr Abimbola Fayenuwo, a very smart lecturer, suffered a similar fate.
“After 18 years of waiting, she was delivered of a set of triplet on Thursday, 23rd December, 2021.
“Then complications.
“The two boys and a girl were named in the morning on 30th December. She breathe her last same day, in the evening.
“She is survived by children, husband, siblings and mother.”
Platforms Africa reports that a Facebook memorial page has been opened for her where it was written that the female University lecturer died less than seven weeks to her 46th birthday.

“A loving daughter, sister, mother and a friend. You will forever remain in our heart,” an update on the page read.
