Adedoja Adeyemi, daughter of Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi, has graduated as the best Master’s student from the prestigious University of Lagos (UNILAG).
Platforms Africa reports that Adedoja received a Master’s degree in African and Diasporic Studies in the 52nd convocation at the University of Lagos on Thursday.

She graduated as the best student from her set after amassing a CGPA of 4.63 (distinction).

With her CGPA, Adedoja became the first to graduate with honours from the Institute of African and Diasporic Studies since its inception in 2017.-
Alaafin Oba Adeyemi III also attended the convocation ceremony among other dignitaries.
She shared several photos adorned in the convocation attire and wrote: “Master Degree bagged!! Masters of Arts Degree in African and Diasporic Studies, University of Lagos (with a distinction – Best Graduating Student Institute of African and Diasporic Studies). Alhamdulillah.”
