The baraat had arrived at Hamirpur from Jalaun district’s Chamari village.
The groom was identified as Ravikanth.
While the actual reason for the bride slapping the groom cannot be ascertained, people close to the family said that the groom had arrived at the wedding venue drunk, which irked the girl
