Wike who has been having a running battle with Atiku after he lost the presidential ticket of the PDP, sources privy to what was discussed at the meering told Platforms Africa, was explicit in his demand for the removeal of Iyorchia Ayu as the party’s chairman.
“He also demanded inputs in the constitution of the PDP presidential campaign council asides that he would be having ministerial slots if Atiku is ready to secure his support,” one of the sources said.

“These demands are similar to what the Rivers governor wanted from the APC candidate asides inputs in the constitution of campaign council and the removal of the chairman.
“He demanded ministerial slots, guarantee that he won’t be witch-hunted with EFCC through trials for corruption, guarantee that his candidate (PDP) for Rivers Governorship will get an easy ride to the government house,” the source privy to the meeting with Tinubu told Platforms Africa.
“As it stands bow, Governir Wike, if he plays his game right, is a beautiful bride, who may eventually be going with the highest bidder, however, if he misses it, Gid forbids, he would go into political oblivion and pay seriously for that,” another source, a member of the governor’s delegation to London, said.
Though, the governor earlier declared that the PDP candidate Atiku could only be entertained to meet him when he comes to Rivers, the London meeting has shown clearly that more political events would still take place in London, other parts of Europe and in America thereby revealing the political economy of the forth-coming campaign.
