A popular Kano-based Islamic cleric, Aminu Daurawa, has revealed how a Chinese, Geng Quandong, who killed his Nigerian girlfriend, Ummulkulsum Buhari, converted to Islam to marry her but the lady’s parents did not approve of the union. Mr Daurawa, who was speaking at a religious gathering, said the late Ms Buhari, told him after Mr Quandong converted to Islam to marry her.
