INEC Swears In 19 Newly Appointed RECs Ahead of 2023 Elections

Ibrahim Abdullahi (Adamawa); Obo Effanga (Cross River); Umar Ibrahim (Taraba); and Agboke Olaleke (Ogun); and Professor Samuel Egwu (Kogi); Full list of men and women who will conduct Nigeria’s make or mar elections, and their states of origin 

 

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) is currently holding a swearing for 19 newly appointed Resident Electoral Commissioners in Abuja.

Those who made the list are: renewal nominees include Ibrahim Abdullahi (Adamawa); Obo Effanga (Cross River); Umar Ibrahim (Taraba); and Agboke Olaleke (Ogun); and Professor Samuel Egwu (Kogi).

Those just confirmed for fresh appointment are Onyeka Ugochi (Imo); Muhammad Bashir (Sokoto); Ayobami Salami, a professor, (Oyo); Zango Abdu (Katsina); Queen Agwu (Ebonyi); and Agundu Tersoo (Benue); anf Yomere Oritsemlebi (Delta).

Others are Yahaya Ibrahim, a professor, (Kaduna); Nura Ali (Kano); Agu Uchenna (Enugu); Ahmed Garki (FCT); Hudu Yunusa (Bauchi); Uzochukwu Chijioke, a professor, (Anambra); and Mohammed Nura (Yobe).
