TANZANIA’S power utility authorities on Wednesday night officially announced power rationing across the country caused by the prolonged drought that has led to decreased water levels in hydropower dams. The Tanzania Electric Supply Company Limited (TANESCO) said in a statement that the power utility company was generating less electricity against the hydropower dams and other power generation sources installed capacities.
