FTX Crypto Founder, Bankman-Fried To Be Extradited To US Over Fraud Charges

Sam Bankman-Fried, the founder and CEO of the defunct FTX cryptocurrency exchange, has consented to extradition to the US to face fraud charges. The 30-year-old American who resides in the Bahamas is alleged to have committed “one of the biggest financial frauds in US history,” according to the BBC. Dr. Doyin Okupe, Director-General of the Labour Party Presidential Campaign Council, Doyin Okupe, has been sentenced to two years for breaching the Money Laundering Act. Okupe was convicted of the offence on Monday by a Federal High Court in Abuja.
