Ogun State Government has declared Tuesday, 24th, and Wednesday, 25th January, as work-free days for workers in the state public service. For alleged depression and financial constraints, a 300 level student of the Federal University of Technology Akure, FUTA, in Ondo state, Olona Joseph Oluwapelumi, has reportedly committed suicide. A groom Idris Mustapha Daja has lost his bride Maryam Muhammad Liman barely 11 days after the solemnisation of their wedding. The bride reportedly died after a brief illness on January 17, 2023.
