Nasarawa Gov Loses Son, Hassan

The Governor of Nasarawa State, Abdullahi Sule, has lost his son, Hassan Sule. It was gathered that the governor’s son died in Lafia in the late hours of Thursday, January 26, 2023. The deceased who got married to his first wife, Hajiya Sule, in June last year was Governor Sule’s eldest son. Hassan aged 36. This is contained in a statement made available to newsmen in Lafia on Friday by the Governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Ibrahim Addra. Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke has described the judgement of the governorship tribunal as ” a miscarriage of justice”, vowing to challenge the ruling at the Court of Appeal. The Osun State Governorship Election Petition Tribunal sitting in Osogbo has sacked Governor Ademola Adeleke as the duly elected governor of the state. Police Confirm Alleged Killing Of 27 Pastoralists In Airstrike

The Nasarawa State Police Command has confirmed the killing of 27 pastoralists in an airstrike in Doma Local Government Area of the State. DSP Ramhan Nansel, the Command’s spokesman, confirmed this and casualty figure to the News Agency of Nigeria.
