Finnish police released Nigerian Biafra separatist leader Simon Ekpa on Thursday, hours after he was arrested and questioned, according to the Finnish news outlet Helsingin Sanoma(HS). Authorities had earlier arrested Mr. Ekpa in Lahti, Finland. According to HS, Ekpa’s release was confirmed by the Finnish Central Criminal Police on Thursday.
