A High Court sitting in the Obi Local Government Area of Nasarawa State has sentenced a senior lecturer in the Department of History and International Studies at the Federal University, Lafia, Dr Fred Ayokhai, to six months imprisonment. Six persons have been reportedly killed in the Oko Oshimili South Local Government Area of the Delta State following a rainstorm recorded in the area on Wednesday. The rainstorm also destroyed many buildings in Okwe and Issele-Azagba among others.
