The Nigeria Prize For Science Nets 100 Entries For 2023 Cycle

Nigeria LNG Limited (NLNG) has received 100 entries from across the globe for the 2023 iteration of The Nigeria Prize for Science. The $100,000 Prize maintains the heightened level of interest experienced in 2022 when about 107 entries was received. The 2023 entries will compete for the best “Innovation for Enhancement of Healthcare Therapy,” a theme adopted by the Advisory Board of the Prize for this year’s competition. NBC Lacks Power To Fine Radio, TV Stations – Court

Justice James Omotosho of the Federal High Court sitting in Abuja, has barred the National Broadcasting Commission (NBC) from imposing fines on broadcast stations. Justice Omotosho, therefore, gave an order of perpetual injunction restraining the NBC from imposing fines henceforth on broadcast stations in the country. He also set aside the N500,000 fine each imposed on 45 broadcasts on March 1, 2019. Killer Bees Sting Six To Death After Bus Fell Into Beehive

No fewer than six passengers met their end after they were stung to death by bees. The bees attacked the passengers when the bus they were traveling on crashed on the road in Nicaragua.
