The South-West Zonal ex-Chairman of the Nigeria Union of Petroleum and Natural Gas Workers (NUPENG), Alhaji Najeemdeen Tokunbo Korodo, is dead. Platforms Africa reports that Korodo’s niece, Azeezat Adebari Olaoluwa, a journalist with British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) News Africa, announced this on her Facebook page. Bolivian leaders issued condemnations Wednesday after rival lawmakers came to blows on the floor of parliament during a debate over the fate of a jailed governor described as a political prisoner by the opposition. Nigerian Poly Student Loses School Fees to Betting, Commits Suicide

  Samuel Adekoge, a student of the Federal Polytechnic, Ilaro, Ogun State, Southwest Nigeria,  has reportedly committed suicide. Platforms Afrixa gathered that Adekoge drabk some chemical substance after losing his school fee and that of his friend to an online betting platform.
