The Management of Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma, Edo State, has dismissed 13 of its academic and non-academic staff for alleged offences ranging from falsified age, financial fraud, gross misconduct, extortion and sexual harassment. The Nigerian Government may save about N35tn in fiscal expenditure within the next five years with the commencement of operations at the Dangote Refinery and Petrochemicals. The Presidential Election Petition Court has rejected the application seeking to broadcast the court proceedings live. In its ruling on Monday, the court dismissed the application citing security concerns and the need to maintain order and decorum in the courtroom as the reasons for the dismissal of the application.
