A federal capital territory high court in Apo has nullified the arrest and detention of Godwin Emefiele, suspended governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN). Bello Kawu, presiding judge, granted the order on Friday following an application by Emefiele. Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) have arrested 13 Chinese for alleged illegal mining in Kwara State. The suspects comprised one female and 12 males.
