Tobi Amusan Vows To Defend Title In Budapest

Women Hurdles World Record Holder, Tobi Amusan, has declared her readiness to defend her title at the World Athletics Championship, holding in Budapest, Hungary.

This was as she said she has put the trauma of her trial behind her and will continue to be an advocate of clean sports.

She made the declaration in reaction to the clean bill of health given to her, on Thursday, by a panel of Disciplinary Tribunal set up by the Monaco-based Athletics Integrity Unit (AIU) over allegation of doping.

Tobi Amusan was provisionally suspended last July for allegedly missing three drug tests within 12 months.
