The supreme court has reserved judgment in the appeal filed by Atiku Abubakar and Peerer Obi challenging the election of President Bola Tinubu.
A seven-member panel of the apex court reserved judgment after parties in the appeal adopted their respective briefs of arguments on Monday.

Atiku, a candidate of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has, having lost at the Court of Appeal, gone to the Supreme Court where he was expected to have proven his case.
This applies to Peter Obi, a candidate of Labour Party (LP) in the last presidential election, who also claimed that he won the election despite announcements by Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) that he came third in the poll.
A date is expected to be announced for judgement by the Supreme Court and any judgement by the apex Court is final.
