The Ibadan Electricity Distribution Company has released the names of erstwhile Band A feeders downgraded to B, C D or E. The Farm Feeder serving the Obasanjo Farm was downgraded from Band A to Band E in the list released by the IBEDC on Saturday. The Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission, NERC, has issued five new directives to electricity distribution companies following the recent tariff hike. The directives were in a recent notice signed by the Deputy General Manager of Market Competition and Rates, Abba Terab. Recall that NERC last Tuesday approved a N225 per kilowatt-hour electricity tariff for Band A electricity customers getting at least 20 hours of power supply.
