Paris 2024 Olympics: Waldrum Unveils Super Falcons Squad

Super Falcons head coach, Randy Waldrum, has unveiled his squad for the 2024 Olympic Games. Waldrum included key stars, Asisat Oshoala, Chiamaka Nnadozie abd Rasheedat Ajibade in the 18-player squad. There are also defenders Oluwatosin Demehin and Michelle Alozie, midfielders Deborah Abiodun, Halimatu Ayinde, Christy Ucheibe and Toni Payne, and forwards Esther Okoronkwo, Chinwendu Ihezuo and Uchenna Kanu. Cholera: Nigeria Records 2,102 Cases, 63 Deaths In 33 States

Nigeria Centre for Disease Control and Prevention (NCDC) has said that 2,102 suspected cases of cholera and 63 deaths have been recorded across 33 States and 122 LGAs in the country. An operative of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission has taken his own life on Monday at his residence in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja. PRNigeria gathered that the deceased, a member of Course 5, was described as diligent, efficient, and unassuming. The Sokoto State government has said constitutionally, the Sultan of Sokoto has no power to appoint anyone. Commissioner for Justice, Barrister Nasiru Binji, said the existing Chieftaincy law in the state contravenes the constitution of Nigeria.
