‘They Should Settle Their Rift, I Have Tried’ – Jude Okoye Speaks Amid Psquare Feud

Jude Okoye, the elder brother and former manager of the popular music duo Psquare, has announced that he is done trying to mediate the ongoing feud between his younger twin brothers, Peter and Paul Okoye.

The long-standing rift, which originally began in 2017 and led to the group’s breakup, has once again resurfaced, despite a brief reconciliation in November 2021.

The latest fallout became public when Paul, also known as Rudeboy, accused Peter, aka Mr. P, of orchestrating his arrest by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC)

Peter has since denied these allegations, countering with claims that Jude siphoned millions of dollars from their joint account into a secret company.

Amid the escalating public row, fans have expressed their disappointment, urging Jude to step in as a mediator rather than taking sides.

However, during a recent Instagram Live session, Jude Okoye expressed his frustration at being repeatedly drawn into his brothers’ disputes.

He revealed that he has exhausted all possible efforts to reconcile the twins, even going so far as to “sacrifice himself” to mend the rift.

Jude Okoye said: “These people [Peter and Paul] have children that are teenagers. If they were in America, they would be grandfathers now. Why is it that Peter always involved me in their fight? It’s because he had that impression that people always called Jude, the elder one, [to say] ‘go and settle your brothers, go and put your family in order’.

“What do you mean by go and put your family in order? My family is in order. Let them put their family in order. If they are doing business together, let them put it in order. I have tried to the point I sacrificed myself.”
