‘God Spared Me,’ Skit Maker Shaggi Shares Near-death Experience In Birthday Post

Nigerian skit maker, Samuel Perry popularly known as Broda Shaggi, has revealed that he narrowly escaped death.

Broda Shaggi, in an Instagram post on Wednesday in celebration of his 31st birthday, expressed gratitude to God for keeping him alive.

He wrote: “Birthdays are usually not my thing. Infact I switch off my phone on these days cos I dislike receiving birthday calls and wishes. Only those who are close to me know Shaggi is not Samuel but that ain’t a discussion for today lol.”

The comedian noted that this birthday is special as God avail him another opportunity to live.

“But this particular birthday is different cos the gift of life was almost taken from me recently but God showed himself and gave me another chance.

“Infact this photoshoot was done last night lol. Today, I’m happy, I’m grateful, I’m honored cos I know some birthday mates who aren’t here to celebrate theirs. I’m no different from them but God has spared me for a reason I’m sure.”

He reiterated his gratitude to God, revealing the gift he would cherish for his birthday celebration.

The thespian, who hails from Ogun State is a graduate of Creative Arts from the University of Lagos (UNILAG).

He came into the limelight by posting short comedy skits on Instagram and has since featured in numerous projects including Oya Hit Me Skits, Fine Boy Agbero, Weekend Vibe, Happy Day, and a host of others.
