Police Arrest 130 Chinese, Nigerians For Alleged Cybercrime

About 130 foreigners have been arrested by the Nigeria Police Force, NPF, for alleged high-level cybercrimes, hacking, and activities against the national security. The foreign nationals who are majorly Chinese and Malaysian consist of 87 males and 26 females were arrested in Jahi area of Abuja. A statement by the Force spokesman, Olumuyiwa Adejobi on Sunday, said 17 others arrested were identified as Nigerians. Operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) have seized cocaine consignments worth N4bn at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport (MMIA) in Lagos.
