‘He Stole Mobile Phone,’ Nigerian Army Dismisses Soldier

The Nigerian Army has reportedly disengaged a Lance Corporal, Kenewenimo Lokoja, for allegedly stealing a phone belonging to one of his colleagues.

According to a source privy to the matter, the Lance Corporal with number 12NA/67/3446, was dismissed last week.

He was said to have stolen a phone of one of his colleagues while on a course sponsored by the army authorities.

The source added that Kenewenimo was recently promoted to a new rank of Corporal and was expected to be decorated officially few days before his dismissal.

“He was dismissed a day before his decoration as a Corporal for stealing of phone while on course,” the source said.
