Following a motion of urgent national importance by a member, Oboku Oforji, the House of Representatives on Tuesday called for the immediate suspension of the 50% hike in telecoms tariff. The House also decried the poor service delivery from telecom operators and insisted that an increase in tariff should not happen until service improves. A Berlin-based palliative care doctor is suspected of killing at least 10 people, more than double the number initially assumed, the public prosecutor’s office said on Tuesday, Feb. 11. A teacher stabbed an eight-year-old student to death at an elementary school in South Korea on Monday, Feb. 10, local media reported, citing authorities. The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) says charges will now apply anytime customers use the Automated Teller Machines (ATMs) of banks other than theirs.
