Truck Plunges From Pen Cinema Bridge

A truck plunged from the Pen Cinema Bridge in Agege on Saturday, leaving its driver severely-injured. This was made known by the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority, LASTMA, General Manager, Mr Olalekan Bakare-Oki, in a statement issued by the agency’s Director, Public Affairs and Enlightenment Department, Mr Taofiq Adebayo. At least five people have been confirmed dead following an explosion at a residential building used to store illegal petroleum products in Rivers State. The Youths and Environmental Advocacy Centre (YEAC-Nigeria) reported that the blast and subsequent fire occurred at an illegal storage site for refined petroleum products in Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni Local Government Area (ONELGA).
