Nigeria’s oil industry rig count has increased by 400 per cent in the last four years, resulting in the noticeable improvement in the country’s crude oil production output. The Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC) has fined Abuja, Eko, Enugu, Ikeja, Jos, Kaduna, Kano, and Yola Electricity Distribution Companies the sum of N628.03million for non-compliance with the capping of estimated billing for unmetered customers.
