President Bola Tinubu has said he expects more politicians to join the All Progressives Congress, APC.
Tinubu stated this during the ruling party’s national summit on Thursday.

According to him, they are “bailing out of a sinking ship with no life jackets.”
Tinubu said: “I just need to tell those who say a one-party system is not good.
“You don’t blame a people bailing out of a sinking ship when they have no life jackets.
“I’m glad for what we have, and I’m expecting more to come. That is the game. Welcome to progress; sweep them clean.”
Tinubu’s comments follow a deluge of defections in recent weeks.
There are rumours that the Akwa Ibom State Governor, Umo Eno, has concluded plans to join the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the near future.
Eno has reportedly mandated his commissioners and other appointees to join him in the APC or resign if they are not comfortable with his choice.
