‘Ayo Ni o,’ C&S University to Begin Academic Operations 2026

 

The Cherubim and Seraphim University in Kwara is expected to begin academic operations by 2026, according to Rev. Esther Ajayi, the Chairperson of the Cherubim and Seraphim Centenary Anniversary Steering Committee.

Ajayi, who is the Founder of Love of Christ Church, Lagos, told News Agency of Nigeria that the university is currently 80 percent complete, on the sidelines of the C&S centenary lecture held in Lagos.

The church held its centenary anniversary lecture on Monday, to make followers reflect on the mandate of the church and make projections for the future.

Ajayi said that the university, a milestone achievement of the Church that affirmed its human development perspective in 100 years, would aid mould characters of future leaders.

She said that with the decline in moral values, the university would be a buffer to amoral behaviours in order to instill in the students the expected values orientation required to advance the society.

According to her, the C&S as a body has come to remodel holiness in the daily conduct of society and such will be reflected in the school to school’s to groom students to be better persons.

“The church is setting up institutions and structures to advance its bridge building in the world.

“A renewed C&S inspires generation and the global community to rediscover its root and engender true human service.

“We are looking at taking the gospel to Europe and the West. It is in schools that we groom persons who can take the gospel back to rescue humanity.

“We need to train bold minds that will preach and evangelise all over the world to correct growing anomalies that pose threats to humanity,” she said.
