The Kebbi State Police Command has confirmed the arrest of a 20-year-old woman, Maryam Atiku, for burying her baby alive.. Speaking in a statement issued by the command’s Public Relations Officer, CSP Nafiu Abubakar, police also noted that the baby was rescued alive. The statement further said the incident was discovered by a farmer, Alhaji Kabiru Muhammad, while working on his farm near the area.
