Meet Musa Adamu from Ondo State, and how he was received at Kano airport

His friends were worried. His family was traumatised. Musa Adamu went to Hajj in June, 2025, but while other Pilgrims returned to the warm embrace of their loved ones in Nigeria about three months ago, the last pilgrim has just arrived.

This last Nigerian pilgrim to the 2025 Hajj, hospitalised in Saudi Arabia during the exercise, is just back home.

The National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON), Chairman/CEO, Professor Abdullahi Saleh Usman, who was represented by the Saudi Liaison Officer Ustaz Abubakar Lamin arrived Malam Aminu Kano International Airport with the last Nigerian pilgrim, Musa Adamu from Ondo State.

The Ondo State pilgrim and the Saudi Arabian Liaison officer were officially welcomed and received by the Ondo State Pilgrims Welfare Board Chairman, Adam Zikirullah Chandy, his Executive Secretary Mohammad Muti’u Omoniyi, the pilgrim’s relatives and NAHCON’s Kano zonal staff, Salisu Gaya.
