Kidnappers storm Abuja again, abduct 4 Persons After 3-Hour Operation

 

Emboldened by the relative success they have recorded so far, Kidnappers have stormed Abuja, Nigeria’s administrative capital, again in a three-hour operation, which ended in the abduction of four more persons.

The attack, which came less than two hours after the release of PUNCH journalist, Okechukwu Nnodim kidnapped on Thursday, was carried out at Tungan Maje town in Gwagwalada area of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

An eyewitness said that the kidnappers operated for three hours, from 12 am to 3 am on Sunday.

At the end of the oepration, which lasted for three hours Abdulahi Idris Rakieu, a retired assistant comptroller of Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) was kidnapped alongside two members of his family.

Also kidnapped in the midnight attack was one Olusola Agun.

Using the same modus operandi deployed in the abduction of Nnodim, the attackers, said to have been dressed in military uniform, broke into the two houses by scaling the fence and breaking in through the window.
