The International Association of Business Communicators (IABC) Africa has elected Yemi Adeyemi as its Chairman for the 2025-2026 term.

A statement published by IABC on its verified LinkedIn page showed that the election was held during the Region’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Wednesday, 25th June 2025, with members from across the continent participating virtually.

The statement read; “We are pleased to share the announcement of IABC Africa Region Executive Board for the 2025-2026 term.
“The election was held during the Region’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Wednesday, 25th June 2025, with members from across the continent participating virtually.
“The AGM produced Dr. Opeyemi Adeyemi (FNIPR, SCMP) as Chair of the new Regional Executive Board.”
