‘Olaoluwa’s unfortunate incident came just few weeks after a final year student of the same institution forcefully took his own life”
A 200-level student of Babcock University, identified as Olaoluwa Subomi Lawson, has reportedly taken his own life at his father’s residence in Redemption Camp City, Ogun State.
Security sources told Zagazola Makama that the incident was formally reported on Tuesday by a relative, who reside in Festac Town, Lagos.
The sources disclosed that the family received distressing information from the deceased’s mother, Olufunke Lawson, who resides in the United Kingdom.

She informed the family that her son had taken his life by hanging himself inside his room.
Olaoluwa was a student at Babcock University in Ilishan-Remo. The motive behind the tragic incident remains unknown, and the matter is currently under investigation to determine the circumstances surrounding his death.
