Fire has reportedly engulfed the building housing Fresh FM 105.9, one of Ibadan’s popular radio stations owned by gospel singer Yinka Ayefele.
According to reports, the incident occurred on Friday night at the station’s premises in the Challenge area of the Oyo State capital.
Eyewitnesses confirmed that the structure was in flames, prompting urgent calls for help.

One witness, Samuel Ibikunle, made a public appeal, saying: “Fresh FM is currently on fire! We urgently need the Fire Service to respond immediately. Please spread the word and alert the nearest station.”
As of press time, the management of Fresh FM had yet to issue an official statement regarding the incident.
However, the Chairman of the Oyo State Fire Service, Hon. Maroof Akinwande, confirmed the development, stating: “We are already there.
