Google Parent Company, Alphabet Sacks 12,000 Workers

Google parent company, Alphabet has announced its plans to layoff 12,000 workers in 6% of its global workforce. The Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Sundar Pichai made the announcement in an email on Friday, according to the Economic Times. Barely 24 hours after he assumed office, Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke has sacked a total of 12,000 workers and ordered the dethronement of three monarchs. The Governor has equally announced the sack of the State’s Independent Electoral Commission’s Chairman, Segun Oladitan and his members.
