President Bola Tinubu has conferred national honours on all members of the D’Tigress for winning the 2025 Women’s Afrobasket in Cote d’Ivoire. The president also pledged $100,000 to each of the players and an additional $50,000 to members of the technical crew. 287 Poets Jostle for NLNG’s $100,000 Literature Prize

The 2022 edition The Nigeria Prize for Literature, sponsored by Nigeria LNG Limited (NLNG) will have 287 poets compete for the $100,000 Prize. Platforms Africa reports that at a ceremony in Lagos on Thursday, the entries received were handed over to the panel of judges by the Chair of the Prize’s Advisory Board, Professor Akachi Adimora-Ezeigbo.
