30-year-old woman, Comfort Yughemba, was, on Tuesday, remanded by a Makurdi Magistrates’ Court for allegedly resisting arrest, assaulting a police officer, robbery, raising false alarm and inciting breach of public peace. The Magistrate, Christy Ikpe, who did not take the defendant’s plea for want of jurisdiction, adjourned the case till June 19 for further mention.
