The Abuja Electricity Distribution Company (AEDC) has asked all customers with outstanding bills to clear their debts or risk disconnection. The AEDC issued the warning on Thursday in a statement by Adefisayo Akinsanya, its head of marketing and corporate communications. Due to power failure, Senators, on Tuesday, delayed the plenary session for the Abuja Electricity Distribution PLC to restore power supply before the commencement of sitting. This threw the Red Chamber into blackout as the lawmakers awaited the restoration of public power supply.
