APPEAL COURT UPHOLDS DEATH SENTENCE FOR HOTEL OWNER IN OAU STUDENT’S MURDER

After Ramon Adedoyin, a well-known hotelier, was found guilty of the murder of Timothy Adegoke, a former master’s student at Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Ile-Ife, the Court of Appeal in Akure, Ondo State, upheld his death sentence. The appellate court upheld the Osun State High Court’s decision to execute Adedoyin in its decision on Thursday. On October 29, 2024, the Court of Appeal had already reserved its decision.
