A factional leader of Boko Haram, Abubakar Shekau, has been confirmed dead. This, according to checks by Platforms Africa, is the fourth time that Shekau has been confirmed by different military intels to have died at different time between 2012 and 2021. He has, after the last three reports, reappeared in a video to debunk his death and mock the Nigerian military.
