BREAKING: Nigeria’s Inflation rate hits 16.47%, about 4-year highest

  Nigeria has never suffered such surge in inflation rate since April 2017   Inlation rate in Nigeria has hit the ceiling of 16.47 percent, highest level to have been witnessed since about four years ago. The consumer price index, which measures the rate of increase in the price of goods and services, increased to 16.47 percent in January. The CPI/Inflation report released by the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) shows that food inflation has also crossed the 20 percent mark. More to follow
